Funding Partners
We rely on the World Health Organization (WHO) to provide evidence-based protocols for the treatment and elimination of disease.
Our major funding partners, which are listed below, contract with UFAR to implement WHO protocols in the DRC. Each of them are in the top ten most effective charities globally, according to the GiveWell Foundation.
The End Fund is the only private philanthropic initiative solely dedicated to ending the most common neglected tropical diseases.
GiveWell Foundation produces the world's top research on charities and supports a small number of charities based on a per-dollar assessment of the number of lives saved or improved.
Unlimited Health is a non-profit supporting governments in sub-Saharan African countries to develop sustainable programs against parasitic worm infections, such as schistosomiasis and intestinal worms.
Sightsavers is a global foundation protecting sight and fighting for disability rights. UFAR’s relationship with Sightsavers started in 2011 when the organization became UFAR’s first funding partner. UFAR would not be able to complete it's work without the support and partnership of the DRC Ministry of Health, a most important partner.
